Hi, We have seen this error on and off in the past also. It is my understanding that by default, the Proventia G appliances attempt to check for updates directly from ISS. This error is caused when the appliance has a problem connecting to the ISS site to check for updates. If you are managing your appliances with SiteProtector and have the X-Press Update Server component, you can have your G400 look to your X-Press Update server for updates instead of ISS. Check out Answer ID 3020 from the ISS knowledge base. It details how to make this change. It worked for us. Good luck.
