Hi,Request u to check the port speed and mode from the switch/router
first.Cases have come where the router was 10 full and IPS port was being
configured as 100 full as usual practice around.Always hardcode the link on
both endsTo further understand log into switch/router and see interface details
like crc or up with errors etc.Configure false to link propagation in link
adaptor properties in local setting of the box to realize which kink is a
problemAny further query r most welcome.
Best Regards,Abhishek

Good afternoon.

Has anyone had any problems with the interfaces on the g1200 appliancecoming
active when connecting devices. Ours is setup inline and we havehad multiple
problems when changing duplex or speed settings getting theconnections to come
up. We have tried both straight-through andcrossover cables and sometimes we
can get the connection up and othertimes we can't. Does the appliance have any
type of ARP cache or MACtable that needs to be cleared to allow devices to
connect? We havematched duplex and speed settings across the board and are
still havingissues. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Chris
