Hi Marco, 

Yes, it does support 802.1Q and don't need to do nothing special about it.

In releases previous to release 1.1 you only can see the VLAN Info (Tag)
if you choose the column on SiteProtector's console, but from release 1.1
you also could create several different protection domains (sets of
detection rules) based on the VLAN tags.

I think it doesn't need to decapsulate and encapsulate the packet, to read
the tag would be enough.
