I have ran into problems in the past and get the same response from tech
support. It would be nice if they posted all known problems on their
website. This would save everyone allot of time.

I ran into the same problem. Submitted a trouble ticket to ISS.  They
responded by saying this is known problem with this specific update and
that they hope to have it fixed soon.

What are you intsalling it on?  Is the agent you're installing it on
online?  Is it Not Responding?  If it's an appliance can you access it
through the LMI?  Have you tried to reboot and / or restart the service
on it to ensure it's correctly reporting to SP?  Did you try to install
the XPU a second time?
