Hi 1) Open up the GAL in CPE. 2) While that screen is open, explore to the following location: C:\Program Files\ISS\RealSecure SiteProtector\Console\SiteData\127.0.0.1\SupportFiles\DesktopControllerG lobalApplications.xml and open this file with an editor 3) Find and remove the section you wish to delete. The full section will look like: <Application Path='c:\command.com' Product='product' Company='company' /> Once removed, save the file. 4) Close the window opened in step 2. Once you re-open the window, you will note that the application has been removed. -----Original Message----- From: issforum-bounces@iss.net [mailto:issforum-bounces@iss.net] On Behalf Of ghaleb.zekri@telio-france.com Sent: Friday, November 18, 2005 6:49 PM To: issforum@iss.net Subject: [ISSForum] deleting entries from global application list manually, Hi all, i am using site protector with Proventia Desktop and i have some problem to add known application list to a policy. the comply.csv file includes more than 6000 entries and the CPE stay working for a long time without any response when i try to add the comply.csv file. otherwise, the global application list size growth more and more and i is imposible to edit it at now (the file size is more than 5 Mb).
