Have a look at the Proventia Desktop Enforcer; not only Proventia Desktop has to run but you can also enforce AV compliance. Also, I heard that MS is going to incorporate something like CTA into it's new Windows (may be even Vista). 2. Juniper IVE (www.juniper.com) has component called 'host checker', which test workstation before granting access to network via Juniper.
