Wine was added to the distribution to support the soon-to-be-added Behavioral Antivirus engine. The Behavioral AV engine has the ability to detect previously unknown viruses or malware, which is more often than not Windows malware. The Behavioral AV engine has the ability to internally 'emulate' what the program would do, and Wine is used by the Behavioral AV engine toward that end.
