In our case, I think as part of the XPU that upgraded agent manager to support
PD, it automatically made copies of all of our RSDP 7.0 policies to PD 8.0
policies.

So the migration was handled automatically. Of course we never saw this
"feature" documented anywhere so we got into a mess applying 8.0 policies to
RSDP agents and vice versa since we didn't notice at first glance that this had
happened "automagically".

Subject: [ISSForum] Policy upgrade from RSDP v7 to Proventia v8 policies

We're looking for an efficient way of transferring policies settings
from RSDP v7 policies to Proventia v8 policies. Tried to open both
policies together to copy/paste but SP doesn't allow that. Tried to
copy to the clipboard from one policy but the clipboard is not
available when you open the other policy. Is there a process, other
than manually inputting this data into the new Proventia v8 policy?
   Thanks,
