Sandro,

Disable Event Collector errors by right clicking the Event Collector and
going into properties. Look under the Alerts tab to find this. Once you
are at Sp5, the errors should not occur anymore and you should be able
to re-enable the errors safely.

The reason you want to disable this now is to avoid filling your
database with these erroneous errors. The reason they are firing is
because there are updates made to the EC in the latest service pack
which require SP5 backend in order to function properly.

Hope this helps for you and anyone else out there seeing this.

Subject: [ISSForum] Event Collector Event Queue full

Hi,

I'm getting thousands of the folowing messages for Event Collector:

Central Response's Event Queue is full.

I didn't find a way to handle this or get rid of them. Could someone
give me
some hints?

I'm still on Siteprotector SP4 but every other component including EC is
up
to date.

TIA,
Sandro
