Greg,
I think I made a mistake before. On the console, I remove the host from
all groups directly without unassigning EC and unregistering software.
Now, it never appears on sensor tab. I could do nothing on it. Any idea
to make it appear on the console? Thanks.
Howard

Howard,
On the Host:After uninstalling server sensor, remove all ISS
directories, including the \temp\iss.
On the console: Unassign the event collector (don't forget this one),
and then unregistar the software, then remove the host from all groups.
Remember the ISS crypto keys are tied to the host.

Subject: [ISSForum] Problem after changing sensor IP
All,
We have a server sensor on a win2003 server. We changed the IP address
yesterday. We found on the siteprotector console that it's "not
responding". I uninstalled the sensor and remove the host from the
console. Then I re-installed the server sensor. However, when I add host
on the console and "automatically register software" at the asset tab,
nothing came up at the sensor tab.
One more strange thing is that while install the server sensor, afer
specifying the encryption provider, the wizard did not ask to archive
the private key.
Could anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Howard
