Why is list-wide screening fundamental, exactly? This is a full disclosure list, meaning people can and will talk about things like viruses. If you've got something filtering out possibly "infected" emails, you may very well have problems with false positives. I think that we're all big boys and girls here, and I think we're all pretty capable of running secure email clients (read: not outlook) and antivirus software (for those of us that run windows). I think things should stay as they are, let us handle what should be filtered and what shouldn't be.
