Hello,
remember, that it doesn't depend much on which firewall you use. It
more depends on how you use it.  It just like having a perfect lock,
that no crook could break, but leaving the safe unlocked. Firewall
must be configured. And they(firewalls) differ only in ways that you
can configure them. One can only filter network connections, another
can prevent some programs from running and some can do both, and a lot
more different kinds of uses.
