Yeah. I just went thru the samething with W32.spybot.worm.
I had win2K and XP pc's patched to the hilt and SP'ed and still they got 
infected and sometimes Symantec wouldn't find the virus even in safe mode.
Very scary.
The thing DOS'ed our internal router for a whole day. About 20 pc's were 
infected.

Changing that reg key is not an option for us as it would break a lot of our 
apps and down level clients like WIN NT and Win98.

Is there any other solution?
I mean, a virus that infects pc's even when they are up to date and patched and 
cleaned is pretty scary.
This should be seen as a big deal by the security people out there.
I can't believe there's not much info on it and Symantec just treats it as a 
moderate nusicance.
