Some remote control programs allow someone to install client program silently and easily. The person wanting to install such a client must have admin priviledge. The install of client program and later the connection to the computer are performed without the awareness of the computer owner, like a background operation. When you are working with your computer, the curiuos guy or attacker, hacker will be watching you. Dameware Remote Control is an example. Your problem resembles this situation. ----- Original Message ----- From: "nguyen khoa" <nguyenkhoabcit@hotmail.com> Date: Thu, 02 Sep 2004 03:01:42 -0700 To: alreb@free.fr, mfernandez@fdta-valles.org Subject: remotely took over computer
Hi all, I have a bit of a problem. I just bought a new computer and it seems that any time I get on the internet, somebody is able to take over the control of my computer For example: when I am typing an email using Yahoo mail, somebody took over my computer and I saw them typing something else?? I installed NoAdware then scaned my computer ->no infection Is there anything else I can do?
