This seems to work for us for US/Eastern (note - no changes to existing zdump/zic): 3) edit /usr/share/lib/zoneinfo/northamerica. Zone EST5EDT -5:00 US E%sT <-- yank this line. paste below. Zone Eastern -5:00 US E%sT <-- change to "Eastern"
I am a little unclear with step 3. Do I yank the line and copy it. Then modify it, to now have two (2) lines representing that zone (I am in Central)? With the Eastern ahead of the ESTDST? -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Solaris-2.7-Daylight-saving-time-fix.-tf2955037.html#a8829564 Sent from the Security - Sun mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
