Hi everyone,

After five and a half years of moderating Focus-MS it's time for me to pass the job on to someone else. I originally took the list over from Ben Greenbaum in August 2001 because he no longer had the time to devote to it, and now I find myself in the same position. Some of you may have noticed lapses in the list moderation over the last couple of months and those are entirely my fault.

As a result, over the last few weeks I've been showing the ropes to the new list moderators. Rob Keith and Patrick Jungles will be taking over all moderation duties going forward. They've been shadowing my moderation over the last while, so the transition should be fairly smooth. Both Rob and Patrick are members of the DeepSight threat analyst team and I expect that they'll be excellent moderators for this list. Please be patient with them as they learn some of the ins and outs of list moderation.

I've had a great time moderating this list, made some good friends, and learned a lot along the way. I'd like to thank everyone who participates in this list for continuing to make it one of the best Microsoft security mailing lists around.

Cheers,
Marc Fossi
Former Focus-MS Moderator
