Hi Hiro. You can use the BITSADMIN tool available in Windows 2003 Support Tools to delete the pending job thus restarting the queue. I install MS patches on workstations by using SUS, but I cannot install the patch, Cumulative Security Update for IE 6 SP1(KB824145). SUS keeps prompting "New updates are ready to install". I click "detail" and that patch is the only one on the list. Even though it goes through installation successfully by clicking "install", the same patch shows up on the list after a reboot. I checked the Add/Remove Programs, but KB824145 wasn't listed. Even though I have approved more patches on SUS, they are not showing up as new updates on the prompt. It looks like I need to either remove or install KB824145 successfully somehow. Any input or experience regarding it will be appreciated. happy holidays -hiro -- Hiro Mizutani Staff Computing Support Specialist Mansfield Library The University of Montana (406)243-6063 hiro.mizutani@umontana.edu --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
