Currently the configuration options for the firewall in Server 2003 look
just like that of XP pre SP2. If you allow a port, then it's allowed to
everyone. Where as in XP SP2 you can define through IP address exactly who
you want to give access to - much more like a true firewall, but it's still
only outbound :(
We won't see these advanced features in Server 2003 until Microsoft releases
the first Service Pack.

Is their a set of hotfixes needed for 2003 that make it comprable in features / overall security posture to XP SP2?
Although there's probably a bevy of XP SP2 items embedded in 2003, I would imagine there's a bunch that's not...
