I jut wonder if it is possible to write a C programme that can acces IPtables and use them for firewalling? If so, How?
Does libnetfilter_queue [http://www.netfilter.org/projects/libnetfilter_queue/index.html] fit to your needs ? It's the replacement to the deprecated libipq. To quote the Netfilter's description : "libnetfilter_queue is a userspace library providing an API to packets that have been queued by the kernel packet filter. It is is part of a system that deprecates the old ip_queue / libipq mechanism. libnetfilter_queue has been previously known as libnfnetlink_queue. " Cheers, -- .::[ Greg ]::.
