Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the tips. I guess if I am looking for unbiased opinion I am looking 
in the wrong place.

I think there is some confusion about my question. I am looking for endpoint 
networking based intrusion prevention systems. So yes, also Symantec has a 
gateway appliance Network-based intrusion prevention product called Symantec 
Network Security, and this product is commonly what people refer to as the 
"enterprise" product, it is not what I am looking at. I am looking at Symantec 
Client Security. This has NIPS and it does share its sig set with the consumer 
products (links provided in the other thread).
