tired of "what is the best IDS/IPS system?" questions

Hi list

I don't know if this annoyance has hit you guys/girls, but it seems
that the focus-ids list receives at least one request per week about
"what is the best IDS/IPS system?". Does this raise the need for a FAQ
or central website that these people can be redirected to? I'm
getting a bit tired of seeing the same questions over and over again,
and the same people answering them in the style of "cisco sux,
tippingpoint is better!" without any decent technical arguments as to
why that IDS/IPS system seems to be "better" (mind the quotes) in that
particular setup in that particular infrastructure.

Regards

Tom
