Hi, If you turn on the Pix you should have the option to flash boot or send a break signal. Unless the 520 is different: Below off a 525 +--------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---+ | System BIOS Configuration, (C) 2000 General Software, Inc. | +---------------------------------------+----------------------------------- ---+ | System CPU : Pentium III | Low Memory : 638KB | | Coprocessor : Enabled | Extended Memory : 255MB | | Embedded BIOS Date : 08/25/00 | Serial Ports 1-2 : 03F8 02F8 | +---------------------------------------+----------------------------------- ---+ Cisco Secure PIX Firewall BIOS (4.0) #39: Tue Nov 28 18:44:51 PST 2000 Platform PIX-525 System Flash=E28F128J3 @ 0xfff00000 Use BREAK or ESC to interrupt flash boot. Can you got to ROMMON mode?
How do I get to ROMMON mode. I couldn't find a way to get it fixed as of now. On further reading I discovered that PIX 520 doesn't have "monitor" mode. Justin how could you enter monitor mode in PIX 520? Thanks.
