thanx Valentino but cisco does not support shutdown command. cisco os is CLI
based and linux os is CLI based but they are not the same they have differents
commands and os architecture.

I have no experience with Cisco hardware at all but from what I understand it
run's some variant of Linux. If that's true and Linux being very similar to
Unix I would think the following command would work:
#shutdown -F or -f
and maybe even
#shutdown -HALT (not sure if the minus sign is required for HALT to work) and
if I remember correctly HALT send's a WALL message stating that the system will
be shutting down in ## seconds.
Like I said, I'm just trying to help you out. If I'm wrong forgive me.
