CheckPoint Web Visualization Tool

Subject: CheckPoint Web Visualization Tool
Date: Wed, 4 Jan 2006 09:07:56 +0200
hello everybody,

i am in need of using CheckPoint's web visualization tool to gather all the
objects and the rules from my CheckPoint R54 firewall. As this is the first
time i do this, i have no clue where to run this program. I have the firewall
and the smartcenter server installed on SecurePlatform on the same machine and
the gui client on another machine (Windows). It is easy if i can run this
utility on the gui client machine as i have the control over windows much more
than SecurePlatform. So my questions are:
a.. Can i run this utility on the gui client machine? If so, what must i do
in order to get this utility work on this machine?
b.. If not, how can i copy, extract and run this utility on SmartCenter
server (SecurePaltform)? (Suppose that i have copied the utility on a memory
bar to be transferred to this machine)
I have read the CheckPoint's document related to this subject, but it was not
so explanatory. So if you have further knowledge about this issue, please let
me know...

Thanks in advance...
