Go to the CheckPoint web site and download the CPClean utility - it is free, and it cleans your system like you never wished for. But make sure that you do the right thing - if you have ANY other CheckPoint product installed on the same system, it will be wiped out as well. -Jaro ________________________________ From: seaktf (sent by Nabble.com) [mailto:lists@nabble.com] Sent: Monday, December 26, 2005 7:43 AM To: firewalls@securityfocus.com Subject: Procedure to uninstall CheckPoint NG (R56) I've launched the uninstaller of "Check Point SecuRemote/SecureClient NG with Application Intelligence (R56)", however, the uninstaller icon just stays on the task bar. The process of uninstaller is still inside the memory running for more than 2 hours and it won't go away. I don't know what to do with this piece of shit. I think I would just kill the uninstaller process and clear the rest by hand. But I need to know what the uninstaller is supposed to do. Eg, what files to delete, what registry key to delete, etc. I've spent half an hour in the website of CheckPoint but couldn't find the least info about this. And there's not even a FAQ section! And we have to buy their support service even it's only for one question. OK, I've got enough. That's why I write here to ask for help. Anyone knows the uninstall procedure of this version?
