Yahoo has the ability to tunnel through HTTP and web proxies in addition to its own ports, so it's engineered to get around firewalls. Basically block all connections to the following hosts:
For reference, it uses ports 20,23,25,80,119,5000-5010,5050,5100,8001,8002.

We are blocking IM at the Firewall (juniper 5200) and through Surf-control (Web Filtering product, but we are still able to connect to Yahoo IM. Has anyone been able to do this successfully? And, does anyone have a list of ports to block so we cannot get to this IM?
