I have a cisco pix 525 firewall and couple of cisco pix 501s. these 501 will be at remote locations. And behind these 501 firewalls, I will have cisco VOIP phones and as well as PC for internet access. So, I wanted to create a VPN connection from each of these 501s to pix 525 for VOIP and data streams separately. for that kind of application, which is better? certificates, pre-shared keys? or something else? is there any way to route the private addresses behind the 501s to private subnet in central network which is behind pix 525? what kind of configuration will I need on both sides? and do I need to run a DHCP server on pix 525 to give IPs to PCs behind pix 501 for data connection? thanks ee
