Don't downplay a vendor if you don't have the facts. Yes, Fortinet has a patent issue with Trend Micro however this has been known for a long time and Fortinet has been working on a solution due out in shortly. If anyone has a doubt about Fortinet and this issue, please get the facts from Fortinet or at least read their response located on their website. As a matter of fact, the patent affects many other security vendors that are not paying TrendMicro a royalty which are offering Antivirus technology. Trend just hasn't gone after them because their not as big a player as Fortinet. You might want to reconsider your choice of vendors since Fortinet is having legal problems (there is an order preventing them from selling in the US) Checkout the following link: http://uk.trendmicro-europe.com/enterprise/about_us/spresse.php?&id=370
