The vendor is Fortinet (http://www.fortinet.com/), the make an integrated firewall appliance called a FortiGate. They were started by the guys who originally started NetScreen. A solid ASIC-based firewall with lots of bells and whistles. Aside from some EU legal troubles with their AV, their compliment of features is decent. Their pricing is good for small-to-medium shops, in particular, looking for an all-in-one solution. FWIW. On Mon, October 10, 2005 11:28 am, Dennis Oliver said:
Greetings List, I am looking at a firewall vendor called "Fortigate" Has anyone had any dealing with them? I need a solution that I can provide VPN Access yet restrict access if certain virus definitions are not in place. I know Checkpoint can do this with Integrity but I am working on a limited budget any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Dennis A.K.A. Big "O"
