Yes, this is not only possible, but even common.

Unless anti-spoofing rules have been instituted, nothing
cares about the source address of an IP packet. So traceroute
responses from devices with private addresses may get delivered
to the station sending out the traceroute requests.

Private addresses will generally be seen in traceroute results
if the packet path crosses a provider who has chosen to use
private addressing on their internal gateways.

Subject: Trace route query

Hi,

I need help with one question which has been troubling me for
weeks, I have done some research but did not find anything
satisfactory. Request all to see if they can help me in this

Is it possible to have a traceroute which shows internal IP
addresses as one of the Hop? If yes, what is the reason for
this. Since Internl IP addresses are constricted to an
specific organization, does this mean that the traffic is
router through the organization.

Something like this (only the IP addresses are present)

202.23.12.13
202.23.12.146
203.121.3.32
...........
192.168.0.10
192.168.0.123
203.12.93.211
..............
