That is not true at all. PIX 6.x supports multicast
'stub' routing which means the PIX can act as an mcast
proxy and pass mcast traffic to an upstream (or
downstream) mcast router.
PIX 7.0 will support both stub multicast routing and
PIM multicast routing.

Alos i want to know if broadcast traffic cab be
passed trrought 
firewalls like CISOCPIX and SONICWALL?

it depends on broadcast traffic type, for example if
you need to forward 
dhcp requests you can do it with dhcp-relay command.
