PIX is just a PC, but the OS is very tight, and supports the Intel Chipsets only. You can not use 3com or any other 3rd party cards in the PIX firewall. You have to buy them from Cisco and pay through the nose. Hello Lists, I am trying to install 3com PCI network card in PIX -515 firewall. The
network card LED is not blanking. But the same card working in the PC.
I am not sure that same PCI card can work with PIX firewall also .
Otherwise PIX is working fine.
Pls let me know how i can fix this problem . If some one can suggested
me some others hardware (Vendor) NIC with can works with this PIX firewall , it will be Appreciated
