Eh, although I've seen Intel cards work you are better off going with
the specific part from Cisco.  You can probably find one on ebay for
cheap.

Subject: Pix - Firewall NIC installation problem

 

Hello Lists,

 

I am trying to install 3com PCI network card in PIX -515 firewall. The
network card LED is not blanking. But the same card working in the PC. 

 

I am not sure that same PCI card can work with PIX firewall also .
Otherwise PIX is working fine.

 

Pls let me know how i can fix this problem .  If some one can suggested
me some others hardware (Vendor) NIC with can works with this PIX
firewall , it will be Appreciated
