there are a lot of problems about the authentication in the architecture
you would bild up.
You should open kerberos ports, rpc ports, and a lot of other netbios ports
only for authentication...
we was doing something like that but a microsoft adviser told us that if
we wouldn't use an isa server as firewall (in the place you put iptables)
we should have to open a lot of ports so firewall would become useless...
