If you stick to using PreShared Keys, then just about anything can talk
to anything.  If you step up to X.509 Certificates, then you really need
to stick with a single vendor.  I have not found any two vendors that
you can reliably count on when using X.509 certs.

They have a netscreen 50 and we have Cisco PIX's. We are also getting
ready
to deploy a Cisco 3000 VPN concentrator.

Guys I have worked with have done it using a Netscreen 500.  I've
never used a Netscreen 50 before, but if they are similiar then it
should work.
