Hi Alex,

I've got it on a box at my house. It works very well, with no
problems. The developers seem to be really on top of things, with
regular updates (and painless...upgrade through the Web GUI). It's got
some nice bonus features such as traffic graphing, DNS forwarding,
built-in DHCP server, IDS, etc which can be enable or disabled if
desired. Takes the hassle out of buildling/tweaking each additional
feature independently. It has fairly basic port-forwarding and
redirection features, which would likely be fine for most people, but
some might find it lacking.

I would have no fears or doubts about installing it in a corporate
setting either (within reason). All in all, a very good option...I have
no regrets and you can't beat the price.

Has anyone used Smoothwall? I'm building a new firewall, and I was
considering using Smoothwall versus IPCop. I was hoping that someone had
used it and could give me an opinion.
