RE: Checkpoint NG Secureplateform Problem

There is a know "bug" with some FP of Checkpoint which do not understand
certain new licensing models recently implemented by checkpoint. (These
are mostly the new small business <500 user type of license).

If you contact checkpoint (or look on the web site there are a number of
small patches which sort this out.

The license appears to be installed but the applications can not connect
to them.

Normally when you install CP, it should have 15 days eval built into
it and there should be no messages like this - but it seems you might
have crossed 15 days period /  - when you run the command 'cplic
print' what is the output that you are getting? and what is the
license features that you say is working on other firewalls - Look in
to $CPDIR/conf/cp.license file - does it show any license at all? If
yes, do you see the fw object in smart update>license tab with a
license attached to it?
