Agreed, once the firmware is upgraded, every time u have to re-change
back the settings. Now mysteriously my WAN2 is dead, no link light,
nothing, either the port is dead or the unit does not like me now,
either way it sucks.

One more update as regards to the firewall.. I saved the current config
but when put that back on a reset firewall.. it did not pickup the
settings (the previous config)... I bet the best way round this sit to
put all routes again . . .

Hello All,

The box works fine but I had the following problems:

1. As a DHCP server, it sometimes does not issue IP's always.. so
not good to use the box as a DHCP server.

2. The LB2-VPN firmware has to be updated. This can be down through
the web browser and not necessarily use a tftp software as someone
mentioned. The entire network was NOT stable until after the firmware
was updated. This could have cost me quite a bit on network downtime

I am putting in another DSL to see load balancing issues or failovers...
will update soon... however, so far, the box works great, apart from the
above problems
