Greetings, I am looking for a list of IP addresses/ranges broken down by country of ownership. Does anyone know of such a list? I'm looking to apply this list to my firewalls and range checking is easier and faster than simply applying one ofs. I'll take my chances on blocking legitimate traffic.
We've gotten rather tired of failed break in attempts from off shore hackers and spammers. Last night I blocked an IP range because of an attack based in China, (anyone ever hear of HLTT Communications?) and it was put to me to basically block access to any IP not based in the northwestern hemisphere. China is just the final straw, there are many others.
