Does anyone know: A) Can you configure FW-1 (NG AI R55) to have a VPN connection to a PIX if it is running simplified mode VPN?
Yeah, it's easy. Just create the PIX as an interoperable device, then make sure you disable 'supports key exchange for subnets'. Create your community and do any preshared secret stuff you need and you're done.
B) If not, is there an easy way to migrate the policy (including all VPN users) to traditional mode VPN?
Not really. You can convert a traditional to a simplified mode, but not the other way.
