does a PIX
have the capability to do load balancing?

The PIX does not have the ability to load-balance. After all it is just a
firewall. If you want to load-balance IIS websites you have a couple of
options.

1. Purchase a Hardware load-balancer from Cisco, F5 or Foundary. (there are
others)

using MS load balancing?

This is a little redundant but.....

2. I would have to verify this you might be able to use Clustering services
and have Static Translation for the VIP of the cluster. I think you may have
to have standard or enterprise if you are using Windows 2003.

Subject: PIX Load balancing?

I work with a company that has two IIS servers
using MS load balancing, but the load balancing
seems broken.

There is a PIX 535 in front of these, does a PIX
have the capability to do load balancing?

Thanks
