Dear Fellows,

What do you all think about fwbuilder. Is it a good idea to use it and
compile the object into iptables. Is it a good, efficient, secure
compiler??

Personally, I think it's a very good piece of software, but I don't
like it nor use it. You have to know iptables to use it well and then
you can better write your own script. It's difficult to manage well
the ICMP packets and it doesn't activate all the protections of the
kernel. I find it useful if you generate your script with it and then
you change it to suit your needs, but again I think you are better
writing the script from the beginning.
