Use 192.168.1.1 if you have not changed the default ip of the inside
interface

The above URLs do not work, would there be any setup required on the device itself?

Questions:

1. Is this a brand-new PIX?

2. Did you change the default ip of the inside interface?

If your anwser to 1 is yes, follow the directions that came with the manual. You can't go wrong with that.
If the PIX is used and you know it originally shipped with version 6.x of the OS, and the anwser to 2 is yes, then ssh/telnet to the device and
verify the ip of the inside interface. Then use that ip in the urls. That should solve your problem.
The only reason that will not work is if PDM is not installed on the PIX (all PIX firewalls that shipped with verson 6.x have PDM pre-installed).

If all else fails, console to the PIX.

Be aware that ssh/telnet access is disabled by default on a brand-new PIX.
