User interaction is not required to exploit this vulnerability. DETAILS The specific flaw exists during the process of scanning multiple maliciously formatted CAB archives. The parsing routine implicitly trusts certain user-supplied values that can result in an exploitable heap corruption. Vendor Response: Symantec has issued an update to correct this vulnerability.
