  UltimateZip unacev2.dll Buffer Overflow

SUMMARY

 <http://www.ultimatezip.com/> UltimateZip is an easy to use archive 
utilty. With it's flexible user interface, UltimateZip is easy to use for 
first-time users and offers many features for power users.

There is a stack based buffer overflow vulnerability discovered in 
UltimateZip.

DETAILS

Vulnerable Systems:
 * UltimateZip versions 2.7.1, 3.0.3, and 3.1b.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in UNACEV2.DLL  when 
extracting an ACE archive containing a file with an overly long filename. 
This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow when a user 
extracts a specially crafted ACE archive.

Workaround:
Do not extract ACE archives from untrusted sources.
