A cross site scripting vulnerability in LiteSpeed allows attackers to cause the program to insert arbitrary HTML and/or JavaScript into responses it sends back to the user. DETAILS Vulnerable Systems: * LiteSpeed version 2.1.5 When configuring the server the "confMgr.php" script doesn't properly validate user-supplied input in the 'm' parameter, this allows attackers to cause a cross site scripting attack. Example: http://[target]:7080/admin/config/confMgr.php?m=al_adminListener%3Cscript%3Ealert(document.cookie)%3C/script%3E ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The information has been provided by <mailto:gs_lab@yahoo.com> Gama Sec. ======================================== This bulletin is sent to members of the SecuriTeam mailing list.
