Harlan, If you meet the criteria (LE, Gov., HD, etc...) you may be able to get approved access to the https://cybercop.esportals.com/. Also for a product specific user forum you can register for access to the EnCase Message board. (http://www.encase.com/support/MessageBoard/index.shtm) I use these resources on a daily basis for gaining insight to the vast expertise of the individuals that are truly experts and pioneers in this field. It will humbles me every day. "Cybercop Mission Statement -- Cybercop's mission is to provide individuals an ultra-secure web-based environment to promote and facilitate the sharing of sensitive information among a cohesive network of law enforcement, first responders, homeland defense and law enforcement related professionals from all levels of government; international, federal, state, local and the private sector, regardless of department affiliation and jurisdictional boundaries..... You will need an Organization ID in order to complete the registration process. If you do not have one, you must contact your CYBERCOP Point of Contact within your organization. If your organization is not already participating on this system, contact the CYBERCOP helpdesk at helpdesk@espgroup.net in order to have your organization established so that it can participate on this system my 2¢ Rob Arnold - CISSP, EnCE, CCE, Security+ NASA UNITeS Incident Response/Forensic Examiner NOTICE: This e-mail message and all attachments transmitted with it may contain legally privileged and confidential information intended solely for the use of the addressee. I was wondering if anyone on the list could make a recommendation. What I'm looking for is a resource dedicated to the exchange of information, where discussions are kept on track and on topic by the folks involved, and where original content is exchanged, discussed, etc. Most of the resources I'm currently familiar with have little in the way of original content, and most of the content that is available is people looking for information on how to get started in "the field". Input and comments are appreciated. Thanks. H.
