Hi,

I am an SSCP and have been for the past two years. The disadvantages of SSCP as compared to CISSP are

1) it is not as recognised as CISSP
2) the number of SSCP is less ( about 800 worldwide when I last checked
which is about a year back) . This means that you have less of the CISSP
group advantages like ( email groups , websites and ISC2 promotions etc).

Look into the ISC2 associate certifications for an alternative.
