[CISSP-D] Global Security Week 2006

Subject: [CISSP-D] Global Security Week 2006
Date: Fri, 25 Aug 2006 05:23:45 -0700 (PDT)
(By Steven Covey) - We have such a tendency to rush in, to fix things up with
good advice. But we often fail to take the time to diagnose, to really, deeply
understand the problem first. If I were to summarize on one sentence the single
most important principle I have learned in the field of interpersonal
relations, it would be this: "Seek first to understand and then to be
understood".

Project planning is about "getting in control" (whereas) project tracking is
about "staying in control". - Neal Whitten. (we need to do both activities to
be successful).

The theme for Global Security Week 2006 is identity theft. Find out about the
truth behind the headlines. Is ?phishing? a genuine threat? What are the banks
doing about it? What can ordinary members of the public do about it?
Participate in Global Security Week to help spread the word about identity
theft and encourage ordinary law-abiding citizens to be on their guard.

Have a great weekend - its Friday - Yes !!!
