From the ISC2 website - https://www.isc2.org/cgi-bin/content.cgi?category=1187 Applicants must have a minimum of FOUR years of direct full-time security professional work experience in one or more of the ten domains of the (ISC)² CISSP® CBK®. As well as pass the test, you will have to get an endorsement from another CISSP or someone else qualified to certify that you do have sufficient experience. Waiver of Experience: If certain circumstances apply and with appropriate documentation, candidates are eligible to waive a maximum of two years of professional experience as follows: * One-year waiver of the professional experience requirement for education. Candidates can substitute a maximum of one year of direct full-time security professional work experience described above if they have a four-year college degree OR a Master's Degree in information security from a U.S. National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Security (CAEIAE) or regional equivalent. If you hold both a four-year degree and a Master's degree, you may only apply for a one-year waiver of experience. * One-year waiver of the professional experience requirement for holding an additional credential on the (ISC)²-approved list <https://www.isc2.org/cgi-bin/content.cgi?page=1016> . Thank you. If you have that your eligible and also if you do hold a Masters Degree that compensates for 1 year. You say that you have SAP exp whats that in development or functional if its development then you fit the Application and System Development Domain. Well for more information on that you can visit the site https://www.isc2.org where you will find all the information you need. My experience in IT has been in the area of SAP R/3(around 5 years).... I also have performed audit in the same area. I am interested in pursuing the CISSP certification, but first was wondering whether I would be eligible to take it up in the first place. awaiting your inputs. regards, Hemal ________________________________ Want to be your own boss?
